Castaway Portland was originally a warehouse built in 1929 but was restored in 2014 and made into one of the best indoor wedding venues in Portland! Located at the edge of the Pearl District, right near the Willamette River, Castaway Portland has the most gorgeous features. This includes 14-foot ceilings, exposed wooden beams, steel windows, polished concrete floors, a full catering kitchen, and even an outdoor covered patio! Castaway Portland has a total of 10,000 sqft of wide open space so there’s no need to worry about cutting your guest list short! This amount of space allows 400 seated capacity, 600 standing, and 900 if you use both of the indoor and outdoor spaces!
The Evergreen PDX used to be a Portland Police event space until 2015 when a couple named Kurt and Heather took over it. They did tons of renovations, sparing no expense and making sure that there were no compromises made. They included world-class aesthetics, acoustics, audio-visual systems, lighting, and amenities.
The venue is laid out in three different sections: the entry space, the main space, and the mezzanine level. It holds a total capacity of 550 guests, with 445 on the main floor and 105 on the mezzanine. But what makes The Evergreen PDX one of the coolest Portland Oregon wedding venues, is the Loyal Legion. This is one of Oregon’s premier beer halls, with 100s of the best Oregon beers on tap – the largest selection in the country! If you utilize Loyal Legion on your wedding day, you can have an additional 220 guests. There’s also an onsite wedding suite so that you don’t have to worry about booking another getting-ready space!
Union/Pine was originally built in 1960 by the first female architect in the State of Oregon, Margaret Fritsch. It actually has two completely separate spaces: Main Venues and The Loft. You can really make your wedding day your own here, with the several custom layout options to choose from.
