My admiration for the outdoors started from growing up in the woods of Oklahoma. Climbing trees, riding horses, running to the lake. I was always an outside and in the sunshine kind of girl. In 1st grade, my family relocated to Southern Alaska for the Spring and Summer and my world completely changed. I fell in love with towering snowcapped mountains, green lush forest that smell of fresh rain and the vast ocean that consumed the islands. I fell in love for the first time and it was with God's creations. I had a camera in hand everywhere I went that summer and I've been chasing that feeling ever since.

What inspires me
Everything in this life we experience that is good, is derived from love. This wonderful Earth that has been created for us, is a prime example of all that is good and wholesome in this world. God is a very important piece of my life and I do my best to serve in his light every single day. The people I have met because of photography, the places I have seen, the experiences I have in my soul; they're all from Him and His love. I can't imagine anything else that inspires me more than living in His truth and capturing the celebrations of two souls becoming one in the middle of His creations. Seriously, it is such a blessing.

MY FAVORITE THINGS
Call it wanderlust or free spirited, one of my favorite things is experiencing something new and good for the soul.
Yummy food, a song that you have to replay over and over to really hear it, a hike to an alpine lake I've never seen, or meeting someone wonderful who enriches your life in new ways.
Sometimes it's a reading a book cozied up on a fall day. Or watching the love of my life fly fish while I soak up the sun fully present.
A lot of the times however, its the feeling I get when I travel and when I create.
This is why I have made it my soul's purpose to meet wonderful, like minded individuals, and capture these wholesome moments for them to be relived and cherished forever.
Behind the Lens
I capture things as they are, and do my best to interpret without interfering.
My approach is a blend of candid, photojournalistic and guided fluid movements.
No cheesy poses. No feeling like you're in a photoshoot. Pure, simple and intentional.
I love capturing all the little details that tell a full story of an experience.
The work I do is intentional, and I will be ready with a bomb playlist, good vibes and reminders on how to be fully present in the moment!
I love getting to know what makes a couple tick, what their dreams are, how they fell in love and the things they want to fill their life with.
INTENTION AND PRESENCE
It is so incredibly easy to get swept up into the chaos of the world. This is why I put my efforts into educating people about small and intentional wedding days. My purpose is to not only successfully and artistically capture your special day, but to be there as a friend to remind you to be present, take things slow and soak it all in. It's only one day out of your whole entire life. Make it worth it :)
My philosophy:
When it comes to Jenny, there are not enough words to express how truly amazing she is. Jenny was such a huge part of why our wedding was so magical. She captured every significant detail + did it with such grace. We had an intimate ceremony and she blended right in with our family, which was so special. She is a true artist + an absolute earth angel. If you are on the fence about locking in an epic photographer for your wedding day/engagement session/etc., Jenny is completely worth it - promise. Without Jenny, we can confidently say our sacred day would not have been the same. We love you, sweet sister. Thank you for being in our lives + being included in our day. We cherish you forever + always.

Jenny was the photographer for my elopement back in October. I cannot recommend Jenny enough!! She went above and beyond for our day. We decided to get eloped out in Sedona Arizona and we are from Florida so we were originally planning the day based on internet advice.
Jenny had gone to scope out the ceremony site the day before (at sunrise since it was a sunrise ceremony) and found that our original site we were planning to get married at would have been very crowded so she scoped out Sedona and found us an amazing location that beat the first one by far. In addition, I shared with her that I had trouble finding an elopement dress and she sent me a bunch of links to dress sites! She also offered to help with other vendors if I needed assistance finding any. Throughout the whole day Jenny was so amazing and she captured our day perfectly. The pictures were awesome and I still get so many compliments to this day on them. If you are looking for an elopement photographer, definitely pick Jenny! I can’t recommend her enough
